Чем не отличный повод ему приехать на премьеру этого фильма - если сложиться - в Россию ))) The Tudors star will play a Jewish diplomat who gets into a passionate affair with a married Swiss woman, played by Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova (Clash of the Titans), on the eve of the Second World War. Marianne Faithfull also appears. First-time director Glenio Bonder starts filming October 25 on location in Geneva, Switzerland and then in Italy. James Dearden (Fatal Attraction) and Vincenzo Cerami (Life Is Beautiful) have written the script, based on Albert Cohen’s bestselling French novel. Bonder is a commercials director whose clients include Calvin Klein and British Airways. Thierry de Navacelle, Jimmy de Brabant (co-producer Girl With a Pearl Earring), with Jean Luc Van Damme (Goodbye Bafana) co-producing. Вельвет: Marianne Faithfull has revealed she'd love to get more comic acting parts after a light-hearted turn in her latest film. The singer, actress and sixties icon plays a housekeeper in the romantic drama Belle du Seigneur, which also stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers and model Natalia Vodianova. "I loved it. I'm sort of funny (in it) too, which I love being," she said. "Having a comic part was great. I haven't done many comic parts in the past and I think I'm quite good at it, I'd love to do more." The film, due out next year, is an adaptation of Albert Cohen's French story of a love affair between a Jewish diplomat and a married Protestant woman on the eve of the Second World War. "I loved it, I had a great time. It was Jonathan Rhys Meyers, who's great, and a really good actor, and Natalia Vodianova who's very beautiful and very good," Marianne said. По сюжету, он сыграл высокопоставленного дипломата, вступающего в любовную связь с замужней женщиной Арианой (героиня Водяновой). Действие романа разворачивается в годы Второй мировой войны. "Мне всегда нравились романы о любви, а это настоящая любовная драма, и я с удовольствием окунулась в работу, - рассказала актриса. - Роман хоть и прошлого века, но актуален и для сегодняшних дней. Также в фильме очень красивые костюмы, и моя героиня получилась романтичной и эмоциональной". Кстати, если для режиссера Гленио Бондера "Прекрасная дама" станет дебютной работой, то кинодебют Натальи Водяновой состоялся еще в 2001 году, когда "русская Золушка" сыграла в комедии "Агент Стрекоза" Фрэнсиса Форда Копполы.
